Welcome The Friends of St. Michael's is a Registered Charity whose purpose is to help maintain St. Michael's Church building for community use by fund raising. Its members are from the village and surrounding areas who wish to see this outstanding building preserved. A fund raising group was first created in the early 1990's as the church was theatened with closure because the Church of Wales felt restoration would be too expensive. This threat caused great consternation in the village community and a Restoration Committee was established, spear-headed by Mr.Ceirios Price. This later became the 'Friends' and, due to its success, the Church was saved. The Friends of St. Michael's are now helping to maintain the structure of the building for future generations. New members are always very welcome. If you are interested in supporting our group which promotes concerts, exhibitions, an Evening of Carols, outings and other events, please contact Mrs. Lonna Bradley, Secretary. You are needed! |

The current appeal is for the repair of the leaking chancel arch, and to provide the church with a water supply and toilet facilities to facilitate community use.
